so i had a home alone night the other night (after olivia went to bed...) and i rented and watched babel with brad pitt and cate blanchett...another friend of mine said it was great...
this one i was loving the whole way through...the cinematography was excellent...sort of a new age easy rider...with a cool soundtrack, very erie! and for some reason i do like brad pitt...and cate blanchette is always great...but...then...nothing really ties together the way you want it to...it just sort of ends. it was like 2 1/2 hours long and could have been at least another 1/2 hour longer. it doesnt seem like the kind of movie that they would be holding out for a sequel or anything...it just leaves you hanging ...
i realize these kinds of movies are to make you think and just sort of throw real life right in your face...but i gotta bitch about something right? a

have you seen children of men yet? we watched it this weekend. it definitely had me wondering what was going to happen through the whole thing. i wished there was a little more about how the world had gotten into the state it was in, but that's the politico in me!
